At Norco, Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Medical Store Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our medical stores, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all medical stores are in compliance with relevant laws, codes, and regulations, including FDA, DOT, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Staff Education and Training: Develop and implement education programs to ensure that store staff are knowledgeable about medical equipment and supplies, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Supervise the testing, evaluation, and maintenance of adequate inventory levels of liquid and compressed gaseous oxygen.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Identify and rectify all safety hazards in and around the office and warehouse.
  • Financial Management: Ensure that profit margins are maintained at an acceptable level, in accordance with guidelines set forth by the Zone and Medical Vice Presidents.
  • Human Resources: Hire, discipline, and terminate staff as needed, while also leading, training, and developing department employees.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior sales and management experience, with a minimum of one year experience in home health operations or Norco medical store operations.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally, to a height of 36 inches.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to accurately enter data into computer systems, with working knowledge of necessary software applications.
