Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare a diverse range of substantive written materials and correspondence related to the office's programs, including investigative and operational reports.
  • Compile case files for Special Agents and Investigators, ensuring they are maintained, updated, and disposed of according to policy.
  • Oversee the ordering, tracking, and inventory of office supplies, furniture, equipment, software, and maintenance contracts.
  • Engage in meetings and deliver briefings on analytical insights and recommendations.
  • Develop and sustain reports as necessary.
Employment Conditions

Qualifications

GS-07: Candidates must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must include:

Providing administrative support, including assisting personnel with data processing, records management, and travel arrangements.

Experience in preparing briefings and reports to gather information and present clear recommendations both verbally and in writing.

Utilizing specialized software for various management and program analysis tasks.

GS-05: Candidates must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level in federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must include:

Tracking records and referrals to ensure timely processing of work. Using automated software systems to prepare reports and materials of a fiscal or administrative nature.

Experience may include paid and unpaid work, including volunteer service that contributes to relevant skills and knowledge.

Education Requirements

GS-05: Completion of a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.

GS-07: One full year of graduate-level education or superior academic achievement.

Additional Information

This position is part of the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
