Marketing Coordinator

Position Overview:

As a Marketing Coordinator for the Professional Football League, you will play a vital role in supporting a variety of marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing the League's visibility, engaging fans, and driving revenue growth.

You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to assist in the execution of marketing campaigns, events, and digital strategies. This role demands creativity, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong enthusiasm for sports marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Execution:
Assist in the planning, execution, and assessment of marketing campaigns designed to promote the League, its teams, and events.

Coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing materials, which include digital and print advertisements, social media content, and promotional items.


Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, such as creative agencies, media partners, and sponsors, to ensure that campaign goals are achieved.


Digital Marketing:
Support the formulation and implementation of digital marketing strategies, encompassing website content, email marketing, social media, and online advertising.

Monitor and evaluate digital marketing performance metrics to gauge campaign success and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

Assist in managing the League's social media platforms, interacting with fans, and curating engaging content to boost audience participation.

Event Marketing:
Assist in the organization and execution of marketing activities for League events, including game days, fan festivals, and community outreach initiatives.

Coordinate event promotions, ticketing campaigns, and on-site marketing activations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and sponsorship, to ensure effective event marketing and memorable fan experiences.

Market Research and Analytics:
Conduct market research to identify target demographics, consumer trends, and competitive insights.

Assist in collecting and analyzing marketing data to evaluate campaign performance and support strategic decision-making.

Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging marketing trends to propose innovative strategies.

Sponsorship Activation:
Support the marketing team in executing sponsor activations and fulfilling contractual obligations associated with sponsorships.

Coordinate marketing deliverables and assets with sponsors, ensuring accurate and timely execution.

Collaborate with the sponsorship team to create innovative marketing initiatives that enhance sponsor visibility and generate revenue.

Brand Management:
Assist in maintaining brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all marketing materials and communications.

Work with creative agencies to develop and refresh marketing assets, including logos, graphics, and visual elements.

Ensure that brand messaging is effectively conveyed through various marketing channels.

Collaboration and Communication:
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and creative services, to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts.

Communicate marketing plans, updates, and results to stakeholders, including team owners, sponsors, and league executives.

Build and maintain relationships with external partners, media contacts, and vendors to support marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Relevant experience in sports marketing is preferred.

Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.

Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, social media management tools, and analytics software.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative marketing campaigns.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Knowledge of the sports industry, particularly football, and a passion for the game.

Familiarity with marketing research methodologies and data analysis.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software applications.
