Position Summary

The Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing initiatives of the Oldcastle APG brand while articulating our comprehensive solutions narrative across our Outdoor Living brands, including Belgard, Barrette Outdoor Living, MoistureShield, PebbleTec, and Techniseal.

This role involves close collaboration with marketing, sales, operations, IT, and agency partners to advance our multi-year brand strategy aimed at enhancing brand visibility, engagement, and conversion as measured by key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Digital Marketing:
    Oversee ongoing website enhancements, including the development of new wireframes and updated landing pages. Organize and distribute supporting assets. Manage digital projects by gathering and organizing essential data for site integrations, including CRM integrations.
  • Execute regular website updates and maintenance while tracking progress. Collaborate with Social Media Managers and Brand Managers to foster online customer engagement. Assist with SEO and SEM campaign support as necessary.
  • Identify and brainstorm opportunities to drive traffic to OldcastleAPG properties.
Content and Brand Communications:
  • Gather and organize content that elevates and supports our comprehensive solutions narrative. Partner with Brand Managers to utilize shared content effectively to communicate our brand promise.
  • Support the PR and internal communications team with brand updates, including completing bios and managing interview requests from internal partners.
  • Collaborate with sales and brand leads to develop training content and curriculum designed to enhance our solution selling capabilities through presentations, videos, and internal updates.
Brand Support and Reporting:
  • Maintain ownership of OldcastleAPG brand standards while monitoring brand and competitive voice. Share approved assets, logos, and photography, and create templates, literature, and promotional items that support brand engagement and sales.
  • Liaise with creative agencies, leveraging their expertise to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and project objectives.
  • Create and maintain a marketing communications calendar of events and activations for the APG brand.
  • Generate reports and presentations for KPI tracking, campaign updates, and key initiatives, recommending actions based on insights.
  • Assist in various projects as needed, including competitive audits, market research, internal team communications, collateral design and production, digital asset management system maintenance, and the development of branded video content.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Journalism preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, demonstrated through clear and concise verbal and written communication.
  • Strong sense of urgency with the ability to respond swiftly to requests and challenges.
  • Adaptability and willingness to efficiently manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with MS Office products, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
