Position Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Front Desk Agent who is passionate about the hospitality sector and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, alongside a comprehensive understanding of The Saguaro's policies and procedures.

Due to the dynamic nature of our operations, flexibility is essential; you may be required to assist colleagues in various capacities as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome every guest with a warm smile and maintain eye contact.
- Foster effective communication and teamwork with colleagues across all departments.
- Manage guest interactions with the utmost professionalism, addressing special requests and resolving complaints promptly.
- Facilitate the check-in process, ensuring guests receive the correct room type and rate.
- Coordinate luggage delivery to guest rooms as required.
- Issue accurate room keys to guests.
- Conduct check-out procedures, ensuring guest satisfaction and collecting keys.
- Accurately settle guest bills and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
- Reconcile all transactions at the end of each shift.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere that exemplifies exceptional hospitality standards.
- Accept reservations and manage changes or cancellations in the absence of the Reservations Department.
- Respond to guest inquiries courteously and efficiently, directing them to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Understand and utilize the hotel's Property Management System effectively.
- Be knowledgeable about all hotel services, facilities, and operating hours.
- Familiarize yourself with fire and safety procedures to assist guests and staff during emergencies.
- Participate in departmental meetings and any other relevant discussions as requested.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Preferred: Three (3) years of experience in hospitality or service industries
- Proficiency in computer systems

Working Conditions
- Moderate noise levels in the work environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, push, kneel, bend, and reach for extended periods.
