Guest Services Representative - Customer Engagement
The Guest Services Representative plays a crucial role in fostering a welcoming atmosphere and a strong team spirit through Front Desk operations. Responsibilities include:
- Managing keys, mail, telephone inquiries, messages, and other guest requests efficiently.
- Assigning rooms and preparing keys for all incoming guests and groups.
- Ensuring exceptional guest relations with all in-house guests at all times.
As a Guest Services Representative, you will be instrumental in:
- Monitoring guest satisfaction scores and striving to enhance both departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
- Registering and assigning guests to their accommodations.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Transferring calls to the appropriate departments or guests as needed.
In addition, the Guest Services Representative is responsible for:
- Completing guest registration, room assignments, and daily food and beverage tasks while delivering outstanding guest service.
- Greeting and registering guests, providing prompt and courteous service, and finalizing guest accounts upon departure.
- Responding promptly to guest requests, promoting hotel services, facilities, and amenities, and providing information about local attractions and directions.
We are looking for candidates with proven experience in a front desk role or a similar position, strong knowledge of office software, and excellent customer service skills.
