Front Desk Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and register guests efficiently, providing accurate information and resolving any issues promptly.
- Review and record pertinent information from the front desk log, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Complete daily tasks and checklists, maintaining a high level of organization and productivity.
- Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues.
- Adhere to guest safe deposit box procedures and policies regarding employee cash handling.
- Reconcile all charges and cash received during shift, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Complete other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
- Be knowledgeable about the Marriott Rewards Program and provide excellent service to guests.
- Process mail, messages, faxes, and packages efficiently and accurately.
- Be familiar with the operating procedures of all hotel areas, cooperating fully and in a friendly manner with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for knowledge of groups and functions in the hotel on a daily basis, ensuring seamless execution.
- Ensure total guest satisfaction, providing exceptional service and resolving any issues promptly.
- Shuttle driving is required when needed, with a clean driving record a must.
- Be prepared for each daily activity, reviewing any variations with management and staff.
- Ensure adequate staffing during peak periods and high occupancy, maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Communicate daily with department managers and MOD to ensure consistency and pass on pertinent information.
- Ensure staff is properly groomed and uniformed at all times, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Maintain efficiency in the operation of the staff, ensuring a high standard of quality of service and courtesy.
- Be a team player, encouraging teamwork and collaboration among staff.
- Follow supervisor's instructions and complete other duties as directed or assigned.
