At Hotel 505 Albuquerque, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Front Desk Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. This includes checking guests in and out, verifying registration information, processing room payments and deposits, and resolving any customer complaints or questions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage front desk operations, including checking guests in and out, and processing room payments and deposits.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints or questions, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Process guest departures, including calculating changes and receiving payments.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff.
  • Maintain an inventory of reservations, vacancies, and room assignments.
  • Answer inquiries about the hotel and its services through the telephone, email, or in person.
  • Handle wake-up calls and a myriad of other guest requests.
  • Develop strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with guests and staff.
  • Utilize good time management skills and ability to multitask to ensure efficient front desk operations.
  • Employ excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Exercise creativity to solve problems and provide innovative solutions to guest issues.
  • Maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance at all times.
  • Be flexible to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.
