Position Overview:


As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our pricing strategies and cost analysis to support Americold Logistics' growth objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


- Collaborate in the creation of comprehensive costing and pricing models tailored for warehousing and value-added service proposals that align with our revenue enhancement and profitability goals.

- Leverage your financial expertise and analytical capabilities to maintain and refine pricing models for both new and existing business ventures.

- Engage with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, IT, FP&A, PMO, and Transport, to gain insights into customer operations and gather detailed cost estimates for developing competitive pricing proposals.

- Prepare Investment Memos, pricing simulations, and concise pricing summaries to facilitate discussions with management and executive leadership.

- Organize and lead pricing review meetings, fostering collaboration across various departments while analyzing and adjusting customer profitability reports.

- Assist in formulating pricing strategies, partnering with business development and other departments to deliver value to our clients and stakeholders.

- Generate precise and professional cost estimates, pricing analyses, and financial assessments for customer Requests for Proposals (RFPs), sales proposals, and capital investment initiatives.

- Maintain and utilize internal pricing tools and costing models, exploring innovative pricing methodologies; develop business cases through financial modeling techniques to support client proposals and internal projects.

- Provide financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making support for key business activities, utilizing data reporting tools such as BPC, SAP, and Microsoft Power BI to deliver data-driven insights to senior management.

- Lead the reporting and analysis of key performance metrics, offering findings and recommendations to achieve strategic objectives.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or Mathematics.

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, pricing, or a logistics-related role.

- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Strong ability to work independently and take ownership of projects; demonstrated problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.

- Experience in financial statement analysis and financial modeling; ability to evaluate and commercialize deals and projects.

- Good understanding of supply chain elements, particularly warehousing, associated costs, and transactional pricing environments.

- Proven ability to communicate and present complex data effectively; successful track record in creating persuasive proposals and presentations.

- Strong project management skills to meet demanding deadlines; ability to collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure high standards of implementation and maintenance.


Preferred Qualifications:


- MBA and/or relevant certifications.

- Proficiency in BPC, SAP, Power BI, SQL/Access, and Visio.

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving expectations and culture; a progressive, flexible, and team-oriented mindset.

- Enjoy discussing and documenting project scope, approaches, and status updates; business savvy with strong financial acumen and excellent communication skills.


Physical Requirements:


- Ability to sit for extended periods, with frequent interruptions.

- Requires manual dexterity for typical office tasks.

- Ability to travel as needed for business purposes.
