Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst II to join our team at Truist Inc. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in providing strategic financial guidance and analysis to support business decisions and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support key business initiatives, including new product development, pricing, and profitability.
  • Support the development of recurring short and long-term financial forecasts and the annual financial plan.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with internal and external audits and examinations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education and related training.
  • Five years of relevant accounting or finance experience, including complex financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build consensus through communication and presentation of factual and relevant information.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, or Chartered Financial Analyst.
  • Masters degree of MBA.
  • Specific financial services or specialized industry experience.
  • Proficient in Essbase/Hyperion, EPM/BPC, or other enterprise accounting software.
