Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts to support long-range expense target setting, annual planning, and expense management programs.
  • Expense Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and optimize expense management processes.
  • Business Partnership: Serve as a trusted business partner to key corporate function leaders, providing strategic financial insights and analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Ad-hoc Reporting and Analysis: Provide timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis to support quarterly earnings preparation, return on investment (ROIC) analysis, and other business-critical initiatives.
  • Forecasting and Variance Analysis: Develop and maintain forecasts for in-month updates and provide variance analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Monthly Close Process: Ensure accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) reporting requirements during the monthly close process.
  • Annual and Long-Range Planning: Assist with annual and long-range plan coordination and consolidation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Departmental Reporting: Develop and maintain quarterly and monthly departmental reports to provide visibility into key financial metrics and trends.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field of study.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant work experience in Finance, corporate strategy, or consulting.
  • Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with a strong understanding of basic financial statements.
  • Personal Qualities: Professional and polished in written and spoken form, organized and thorough, with keen analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to turn data into actionable insights and drive business decisions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful results and communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Financial Modeling and Planning: Experience building financial models and business cases, with a strong understanding of planning technologies such as OneStream and/or Oracle EPM.
