Position SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst will be an integral member of the finance team, responsible for overseeing the financial operations related to airport maintenance and infrastructure projects. This role will ensure that all financial resources are effectively managed to support the airport's mission.
The analyst will also supervise a small team dedicated to billing, accounts payable, and customer service functions.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee financial operations related to airport maintenance and infrastructure projects.
- Manage the certification program for utility cuts and ensure accurate billing for services rendered.
- Process and reconcile financial documents, including invoices and payment applications.
- Develop and review financial documentation for procurement and service contracts.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Prepare and present budget reports to the management team.
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.
- Supervise financial, procurement, and customer service staff.
- Review and approve all purchase orders and procurement card transactions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong understanding of financial principles and practices, including:
- Customer Service: Ability to provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Management: Knowledge of strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with financial management software.
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Relevant work experience in financial analysis or budgeting.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, along with relevant work experience.
