Job Overview

The Inside Product Support Specialist will be responsible for delivering product and technical assistance, along with training related to our forklift products. This role is essential in supporting our field service teams and providing comprehensive technical support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver product support for forklifts manufactured by the company.
  • Assist internal teams with service-related inquiries and projects.
  • Collaborate with the training department to facilitate training sessions and manage logistics for training events.
  • Document all relevant customer interactions in the Service Call Center database.
  • Prepare weekly reports outlining activities for the product support and warranty manager.
  • Review high-value warranty claims in conjunction with the warranty department.
  • Provide updated technical guidance to technicians seeking assistance.
  • Manage inquiries and incoming calls to the Service Call Center, directing them to the appropriate internal teams or field personnel.
  • Address inquiries from external customers effectively.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Willingness to travel as necessary to support dealers (up to 10%).
  • Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Capable of writing routine reports and communicating effectively with groups.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, and basic algebra.
  • Reasoning Skills: Capable of applying common sense to follow instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
