Position Overview
The Inside Product Support Specialist will be responsible for delivering comprehensive product and technical assistance related to our forklift offerings. This role is essential in supporting our field service teams and ensuring our customers receive top-notch technical guidance for all company products.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert product support for forklifts manufactured by the company.
- Assist internal teams with inquiries related to service and projects.
- Collaborate with the training department to facilitate training sessions and manage event logistics.
- Document all relevant customer interactions in the Service Call Center database.
- Prepare weekly reports detailing activities for the product support and warranty manager.
- Review significant warranty claims in conjunction with the warranty department.
- Provide updated technical insights to technicians seeking assistance.
- Manage inquiries and incoming calls within the Service Call Center, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Address inquiries from external customers effectively.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Willingness to travel as necessary to support dealers (up to 10%).
- Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals. Capable of writing routine reports and communicating effectively with groups.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, and basic algebra.
- Reasoning Skills: Capable of applying common sense to follow instructions and resolve problems in standardized situations.
