Job Summary

The Inside Product Support Specialist will deliver comprehensive product and technical assistance for our forklift range. This role involves supporting field service personnel and offering technical guidance to all customers regarding our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver product support for forklifts manufactured by the company.
  • Assist internal teams with service-related queries or initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the training department during educational sessions, coordinating logistics for training events.
  • Document all relevant inquiries in the Service Call Center database management system.
  • Submit weekly reports detailing activities to the product support and warranty manager.
  • Review significant warranty claims with the warranty department.
  • Provide updated technical insights to technicians seeking assistance.
  • Manage inquiries and incoming calls in the Service Call Center, directing them to the appropriate internal teams or field personnel.
  • Address inquiries from external customers.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Willingness to travel as necessary to support dealers (up to 10%), with or without prior notice.
  • Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting safety regulations, operating instructions, and procedural manuals. Capable of composing routine reports and correspondence. Effective communication skills for addressing groups of customers or colleagues.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Familiarity with basic algebra and geometry concepts.
  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Capable of resolving issues involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
