About the Role

Hines is seeking a highly skilled Regional Property Manager - Multifamily to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and operational performance of a portfolio of multifamily properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage annual budgets for the assigned portfolio, analyze financial statements, and reconcile monthly statements against approved budgets.
  • Operational Leadership: Provide leadership to a team of community managers, including interviewing, hiring, and training team members, and managing their performance.
  • Market Analysis: Review and analyze market data to identify emerging trends that may impact the performance of the portfolio, and develop and implement market plans to drive occupancy and revenue growth.
  • Property Maintenance: Ensure that the appearance and physical aspects of the properties meet established standards through routine site and safety inspections.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate work activities and services from vendors, consultants, and other contractors as needed.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all property operations in the portfolio are in adherence and compliance with governing business documents.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution required, Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Experience: Five or more years supervisory experience in residential operations and two or more years of portfolio management experience.
  • Certifications: Industry certifications (e.g., CPM, CAPS, CAM, etc.) preferred.
  • Skills: Demonstrates leadership and management skills, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, possesses professional written and verbal communications skills, and demonstrates strong attention to detail.
