SUMMARY

The Grand Sierra Resort and Casino seeks dedicated reservation specialists to assist guests in planning their perfect stay. Working in a dynamic call center environment, our reservation specialists handle incoming inquiries, providing friendly and efficient service to help guests find the ideal accommodations. They offer tailored suggestions for packages and amenities, ensuring a personalized experience that meets each client's needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Comfortable handling phone interactions and data entry tasks.
  • Engage with guests using a positive and articulate communication style.
  • Provide accurate information regarding hotel services, local attractions, and operational hours.
  • Process guest requests, including booking, modifying, or canceling reservations.
  • Maintain effective communication with guests and internal teams through calls and follow-ups.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as deposits, email correspondence, and filing.
  • Assist guests with inquiries related to their stay, both in person and over the phone.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Exceptional customer service skills, both on the phone and face-to-face.
  • Able to navigate multiple software applications for reservations and ticketing.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a customer service role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proactive approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; college education preferred.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; Spanish language skills are a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks.
  • Frequent use of wrist motion and hand-eye coordination for typing and data entry.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds.

WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS
