Role Summary:

Under the guidance of the Subcontracts Manager and with minimal oversight, the Senior Subcontract Administrator delivers expert knowledge in the procurement of complex or high-risk goods and services to support corporate goals and program requirements. This role involves managing supplier relationships to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and maintaining all relevant subcontract documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop and implement subcontract plans, requests for information, and awards to secure necessary goods and services aligned with organizational objectives.

+ Conduct evaluations, analyses, and negotiations in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies.

+ Ensure effective acquisition practices that meet program and corporate goals.

+ Collaborate with internal resources to monitor and manage supplier performance and costs.

+ Maintain a foundational understanding of CAE's subcontract products.

+ Prioritize tasks effectively to meet program and customer expectations.

Qualifications:

+ A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field, or a minimum of eight years of experience in subcontract administration.

+ Proficient in program management budgeting and scheduling tools.

+ Extensive knowledge of the procurement process, particularly in the defense aerospace sector.

+ Experience with cost/price analysis of supplier proposals.

+ Ability to apply measurement standards to assess performance changes.

+ Familiarity with maintaining compliant subcontract management documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Eligibility for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

+ Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and relevant public laws.

+ Previous experience collaborating with engineering teams for effective requirements definition.

+ A minimum of 12 years in federal contracting.

+ Proven ability to engage with internal stakeholders to meet program and customer needs.

Security Responsibilities:

Compliance with all company security and data protection policies is mandatory. Employees must ensure proper handling of sensitive information and materials.

Work Environment:

This position is based in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment. Some domestic and international travel may be required.

Physical Demands:
