Job Title: Environmental Compliance Specialist

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Environmental Scientist with a minimum of 5 years in the field, specializing in environmental assessments and compliance. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and will be adept in navigating regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive environmental due diligence.
  • Manage and execute complex projects while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and develop project strategies.
  • Oversee project budgets and maintain financial performance.
  • Engage in client communication and foster strong relationships.
  • Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies and coordinate field operations.
  • Draft and analyze advanced project reports and interpret analytical data.
  • Complete necessary regulatory documentation and reporting.

Essential Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Phase I and II ESAs.
  • Expertise in regulatory compliance related to environmental science.
  • Proficient in evaluating soil and groundwater contamination.
  • Familiarity with TCEQ Petroleum Storage Tank (PST) Program, Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP), and Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP).
  • Strong proposal writing and budget management skills.
  • Ability to interpret analytical data and prepare final reports.

Soft Skills:

  • Strategic project development and cost estimation.
  • Effective communication and relationship management.
  • Leadership in overseeing multifaceted projects.
  • Coordination of field activities and collaboration with teams nationwide.

Work Environment:

This position is fully on-site and involves working on a variety of projects that range in complexity. Occasional travel may be required for project oversight and meetings.
