As a vital member of our organization, you will be instrumental in shaping the annual evaluation of control measures and compliance assessments utilizing TR's control framework.

Your Responsibilities

In your capacity as a Compliance and Risk Management Specialist, you will:
  • Offer insights and actively engage in establishing the yearly control evaluation and compliance assessment framework using TR's standards.
  • Serve as a seasoned auditor overseeing compliance testing operations, enhancing collaboration and awareness among various stakeholders.
  • Facilitate or oversee readiness evaluations against multiple standards including ISO 27001, CJIS, 9001, SOC 1, SOC 2, and HIPAA.
  • Assist teams in finalizing attestation documentation for PCI.DSS, HIPAA, and CJIS.
  • Guide colleagues on methodologies for completing control population, sampling, re-testing, exception reporting, and tracking requirements.
  • Provide technical or compliance guidance to teams managing programs, software, and information systems security.
  • Contribute to a comprehensive approach to compliance testing, aligning with long-term automation objectives.
Your Profile

You are an ideal candidate for the Compliance and Risk Management Specialist role if you possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, or equivalent education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in SoX, ITGC, PCI within Audit, Big 5, consulting firms, or in a Governance or Compliance role within a regulated industry such as Energy, Financial Services, or Insurance.
  • Essential certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CCAK, CISM, or CRISC.
  • Strong ethical principles and a solid understanding of business and information systems ethics.
  • Familiarity with common security vulnerabilities associated with web and cloud applications.
  • Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms like ServiceNow, ProcessUnity, RSA Archer, or MetricStream.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages such as French or Spanish is a plus.
