Partnerships Director

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Partnerships Director to lead our business development efforts, forge new relationships, and expand our network of brand partners. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for social media and influencer marketing, skilled in creating mutually beneficial partnerships, and capable of driving revenue growth through collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a partnership strategy that supports business objectives, including revenue targets and market expansion.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new brand partnerships that align with our agency's services and vision.
- Manage ongoing relationships with partners to ensure satisfaction and success.
- Collaborate with our creative, influencer, and social media teams to develop proposals, deliver pitches, and execute innovative campaigns that meet client goals.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities to identify and approach high-potential partners.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure mutually beneficial terms for both the agency and our partners.
- Track partnership performance, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to improve future collaboration opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a business development, partnerships, or sales leadership role within the social media, influencer marketing, or digital agency space.
- Strong understanding of influencer marketing, social media platforms, and trends.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, build, and manage long-term partnerships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Strong network within the social media, brand, or marketing sectors is a must.

Our Interview Process:
We're looking for deeply passionate people who want to work with us as much as we want to work with them. Our process focuses on assessing a variety of skill sets and helps both you and us to understand if we're making the right decision. When we bring someone into the team we want to work with them for years, so the process is particularly important.
Stage One (30 mins): An informal chat, firstly giving you the opportunity to ask questions about the role and find out more about the business, then we'll ask you three questions.

- What were your biggest challenges and biggest successes in your previous role?
Stage Two (One hour - face to face if possible): An interview in front of two NewGen teammates. This stage will focus on your skillset, and ability to deliver the work and we'll ask questions about your specific experience aligned to the role.
Stage Three (One hour - face-to-face required, this is a hybrid role): A task and presentation in front of all three people from Stage One & Two. We use this task to understand core competencies: ability to pitch and your professional communication style, ability to create pitch decks / communicate your ideas visually, and understanding of data and insights.
