Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Spectrum Communications Manager to join our team at ManTech International Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing frequencies, designing and deploying networked Ultra High Frequency and Very High Frequency (UHF/VHF) communication systems, and providing sustainment support across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Digital Radio Management System Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support Government and Government Customers.
  • Manage frequencies across different enclaves to ensure seamless communication.
  • Assist in the design, development, deployment, and installation of networked UHF/VHF communication systems and system components.
  • Support the design, development, deployment, and installation of network communication components to digitize UHF/VHF Radio Frequency (RF) communication systems across the NCTE enterprise.
  • Review and provide recommendations on communications materials to ensure successful integration of new technology into existing NCTE training ranges.
  • Provide communications systems sustainment support across the NCTE enterprise.
  • Analyze communication system degradations and provide timely action to support restoration of services.
  • Install UHF/VHF radio communication and associated components.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • 4 years of relevant experience in the responsibilities mentioned above
  • Spectrum Manager Course Certificate
  • Experience as an Electronic Technician or Information Technician
  • Experience with UHF/VHF
  • Understanding of the planning, design, operation, testing, and maintenance of networked communication systems
  • Ability to install communications equipment and antennas
  • Up to 25% travel required or as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • CompTIA Security+
Security Clearance Requirements
  • Must have an active Secret clearance
Physical Requirements
  • Position Self to move
  • Stationary 50% or more of the time
  • Occasionally move around the office
