Furthermore, they have created an extensive suite of solutions that aid clients in managing asset performance, optimizing processes, and overseeing energy consumption.

Role Overview

The APM Pre-Sales Architect will be integral to the sales and presales initiatives, working closely with sales and customer teams to pinpoint gaps in personnel, processes, technology, and data, while quantifying plant challenges in terms of financial implications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engaging with potential clients, both in-person and virtually, to conduct thorough discovery sessions aimed at identifying significant issues and assessing their financial impact related to production, maintenance, operational costs, safety, environmental concerns, and reputation.
  • Collaborating with sales teams to craft detailed presales proposals and presentations that effectively highlight the advantages and features of the in-house APM products and services.
  • Performing comprehensive analyses of client needs and business processes to uncover opportunities for the in-house APM solutions.
  • Delivering compelling and informative demonstrations of APM solutions, both in-person and virtually.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving requirements, and proactively identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional APM services.
  • Working alongside internal teams, including solution architects, product development, engineering services, integration consultants, and implementation consultants, to ensure a smooth transition from presales to project execution.

Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution along with over 5 years of experience in presales consulting or solution architecture roles, particularly focused on APM solutions within the Oil & Gas or Power Generation sectors.
  • A proven history of delivering successful presales presentations and demonstrations that effectively convey the value proposition of APM solutions and engineering services to clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable APM solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport-building with clients and collaboration with internal teams.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities concurrently.
  • A willingness to travel frequently within North America.
