NAVA Software Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior SAP Financial Solutions Architect.

Position Summary:

The Senior SAP Financial Solutions Architect serves as a pivotal technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing SAP solutions that drive the financial and reporting frameworks of our organization. This role emphasizes the utilization of advanced SAP technologies, such as S/4HANA and Business Technology Platform (BTP), to ensure effective financial governance, insightful analytics, and informed decision-making. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP modules and other enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architectural design of integrated SAP solutions for Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO), ensuring seamless integration with Procurement (MM) and Maintenance (PM) modules.
  • Coordinate with the SAP Application Management Support (AMS) team to implement necessary configuration adjustments and ensure successful project execution.
  • Utilize SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to develop custom workflows, extensions, and integrations tailored to business needs.
  • Design solutions that cater to industry-specific requirements, including asset management and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee technical project implementations, encompassing system configurations, data migrations, and integrations with other enterprise applications.
  • Employ SAP workflow capabilities to streamline business processes and enhance operational productivity.
  • Configure and tailor SAP and non-SAP reporting tools to deliver real-time insights into financial and operational metrics.
  • Establish robust financial controls within SAP to maintain data accuracy and compliance with both internal and external standards.
  • Define and uphold segregation of duties (SoD) protocols within SAP to mitigate operational risks.
  • Develop internal control frameworks for financial reporting and procurement processes.
  • Create customized reports and dashboards to address the specific informational needs of various stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to change management protocols for ongoing enhancements and projects.
  • Leverage SAP Analytics Cloud and other reporting tools to empower business users with self-service analytics capabilities.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to uncover trends and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to both functional and technical SAP teams.
  • Support the development of junior SAP consultants by sharing best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP FICO implementation and support, ideally within the energy sector.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, focusing on FI and CO modules.
  • Experience with full life cycle SAP implementations.
  • Proficiency in designing solutions on SAP BTP, including custom workflows and extensions.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated leadership in SAP project management and implementation.
  • Ability to coordinate with project managers to execute large-scale initiatives effectively.
  • Experience in developing and supporting applications within modern SAP environments.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration among diverse teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Broad understanding of SAP Finance functions and related sub-modules.

Certifications:

  • SAP FICO certifications are highly preferred.
