Role Overview

The APM Pre-sales Architect will be instrumental in the sales and presales process, working closely with sales and customer teams to identify gaps in people, processes, technology, and data, while quantifying the financial implications of plant challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential clients, both in-person and virtually, to conduct discovery sessions aimed at identifying critical issues and their financial impacts on production, maintenance, operational costs, safety, environmental concerns, and reputation.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to create comprehensive presales proposals and presentations that effectively highlight the features and advantages of our APM products and services.
  • Perform detailed analyses of client requirements and business processes to uncover opportunities for our APM solutions.
  • Deliver compelling and informative demonstrations of APM solutions, both in-person and virtually.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs and proactively identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional APM services.
  • Work alongside internal teams, including solution architects, product development, engineering services, integration consultants, and implementation consultants, to ensure a smooth transition from presales to project execution.

Qualifications

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and over 5 years of experience in presales consulting or solution architecture roles, particularly focused on APM solutions within the Oil & Gas or Power Generation sectors.
  • A proven history of successfully delivering presales presentations and demonstrations that effectively convey the value proposition of APM solutions and engineering services to clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate complex business requirements into actionable APM solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within North America.
