NAVA Software Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior SAP Financial Solutions Architect.

Position Summary:

The Senior SAP Financial Solutions Architect serves as a pivotal technical authority responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing SAP solutions that support financial operations and reporting within the organization. This role emphasizes the application of advanced SAP technologies, including S/4HANA and Business Technology Platform (BTP), to establish effective financial controls, comprehensive reporting, and data-informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the technical architecture of integrated SAP solutions focusing on Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO), ensuring seamless integration with other operational modules.
  • Collaborate with the SAP Application Management Support (AMS) team to execute necessary configuration adjustments and facilitate successful project delivery.
  • Utilize SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to develop custom workflows, extensions, and integrations tailored to business needs.
  • Design solutions that address specific industry requirements, including asset management and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the execution of technical implementation projects, encompassing system configuration, data migration, and integration with enterprise systems.
  • Leverage SAP workflow functionalities to streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Configure and customize reporting tools to deliver real-time insights into financial and operational metrics.
  • Establish and enforce robust financial controls within SAP to ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Define segregation of duties (SoD) protocols within SAP to mitigate operational risks.
  • Develop internal control frameworks for financial reporting and procurement processes.
  • Create tailored reports and dashboards to meet the diverse information needs of stakeholders.
  • Maintain compliance with change control procedures for ongoing enhancements and projects.
  • Utilize analytics tools to empower business users with self-service reporting capabilities.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to uncover trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay updated on emerging SAP technologies and industry trends.
  • Provide technical mentorship to functional and technical teams within SAP.
  • Guide junior consultants on best practices in SAP implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in SAP FICO implementation and support, preferably in the energy sector.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly in FI and CO modules.
  • Experience in managing full life cycle SAP implementations.
  • Proficient in designing solutions on SAP BTP.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated leadership in SAP project management.
  • Experience coordinating with project managers to execute large-scale initiatives.
  • Ability to develop and support applications within the latest SAP technology frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration within high-performance teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Broad understanding of SAP Finance functions and related sub-modules.
  • Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and ChaRM is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Certifications:

  • SAP FICO certifications are highly preferred.
