NAVA Software Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior SAP Financial Solutions Architect.

Position Summary:

The Senior SAP Financial Solutions Architect serves as a pivotal technical authority responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing SAP solutions tailored for financial operations within the LNG sector. This role emphasizes the utilization of cutting-edge SAP technologies, including S/4HANA and Business Technology Platform (BTP), to ensure effective financial governance, insightful analytics, and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect integrated SAP solutions for Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO), ensuring seamless integration with Procure to Pay (MM) and other relevant modules.
  • Collaborate with the SAP Application Management Support (AMS) team to execute necessary configuration adjustments and guarantee successful deployment.
  • Utilize SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to develop custom extensions and workflows.
  • Design solutions that cater to specific LNG requirements, including asset management and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Oversee the technical execution of projects, encompassing system setup, data migration, and integration with other enterprise applications.
  • Leverage SAP workflow functionalities to streamline business processes and enhance operational productivity.
  • Configure and personalize SAP and reporting tools to deliver real-time insights into financial and operational metrics.
  • Establish robust financial controls within SAP to maintain data accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Define and uphold segregation of duties (SoD) protocols within SAP to mitigate risks.
  • Develop internal control frameworks for financial reporting and procurement processes.
  • Create tailored reports and dashboards to address the specific information needs of stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to change management protocols for ongoing enhancements and projects.
  • Utilize reporting tools to empower business users with self-service analytics capabilities.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to uncover trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and trends within the energy sector.
  • Provide technical mentorship to both functional and technical SAP teams.
  • Guide junior consultants on best practices in SAP implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in SAP FICO implementation and support for large-scale integrated solutions, preferably in the LNG or similar industries.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, focusing on FI and CO modules.
  • Experience in managing full life cycle SAP implementations.
  • Proficient in designing and implementing solutions on SAP BTP.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Demonstrated leadership in SAP project management.
  • Experience in coordinating with IT and project teams to execute large-scale projects effectively.
  • Ability to develop and support applications within the latest SAP technology environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts constructively and encourage team success.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making in complex business scenarios.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into user-friendly language.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Broad understanding of SAP Finance functions and related sub-modules.
  • Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and ChaRM is advantageous.
  • Experience with outsourced Application Management Support (AMS) providers.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles and reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in SAP BTP and ABAP development for custom enhancements.
  • Familiarity with SAP data warehousing and reporting tools.

Certifications:

  • SAP FICO certifications are highly preferred.
