Job Title: Registration Representative

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Registration Representative to join our team at Powers Health. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service and ensuring a smooth registration process.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Register patients in accordance with established standards and policies
• Perform front office duties, including check-in functions, verifying patient information, and answering telephones
• Schedule patient appointments and enter physician charges daily
• Balance the cash drawer daily and collect self-pay monies, co-pays, and patient balances

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office setting preferred
• Previous experience with EPIC electronic medical record system preferred
• Proficiency with Windows-based desktop applications and PC keyboard data entry skills
• Basic knowledge of computers, office equipment, medical terminology, and health insurance/managed care plans
• Excellent attitude, interpersonal skills, and communication abilities
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
