Clinical Claims Coordinator II

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Claims Coordinator II to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely preparation, submission, and follow-up of claims to third-party carriers and patients. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will enable you to resolve issues efficiently and effectively, while your excellent communication skills will facilitate positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Prepare and submit claims to third-party carriers and patients in a timely and accurate manner.
• Analyze and resolve claim discrepancies, communicating with relevant parties to ensure resolution.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Respond to patient and physician inquiries in a timely and professional manner according to hospital procedures.
**Requirements:**
• Associate's Degree in a business or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of patient accounting experience, including 1 year of electronic billing systems experience.
• Strong knowledge of hospital billing practices, healthcare payor regulations, and electronic remittance processing requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other team members.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
**Estimated Salary:** $20.50 - $30.00 per hour.
