Rutland Regional Medical Center seeks a skilled WOCN Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our multidisciplinary team. This dynamic role is ideal for a dedicated and compassionate nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Role

In this critical position, you will coordinate and provide consultative and direct clinical care services for patients with ostomies, fistulae, tubes, dermal wounds, and incontinence needs. You will evaluate patient outcomes, identify populations at risk, and propose effective solutions to improve patient care. Additionally, you will provide education services to nursing, medical, and allied health staff, as well as consumers, related to ostomies and wound management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient outcomes and develop effective plans of care to address ostomy-related needs.
  • Provide consultation to all levels of nursing and physician patient care stakeholders on ostomy and wound management best practices.
  • Assist in research activities aimed at improving clinical services and patient outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver educational programs to promote optimal ostomy and wound care practices among healthcare professionals and patients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum two years of clinical experience, preferably in leadership or nursing education roles.
  • Licensed in the State of Vermont.
  • CWOCN Certification (or required within 1 year of hire).
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $35.36 - $56.50 per hour, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
