Education and Training Coordinator

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Education and Training Coordinator to support our educational initiatives. As a key member of our team, this individual will develop, implement, and evaluate education programs that promote excellence in patient care and services.
About the Role
This position requires a unique blend of clinical expertise and education skills. The successful candidate will design, deliver, and assess education programs, while also collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering education programs to meet the needs of our staff.
- Mentoring and coaching colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
- Assessing competencies and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need a BSN degree and at least 7 years of clinical experience in nursing with 3 years of department/unit/specialty specific experience. Previous experience designing, facilitating, and validating education or training experiences is highly desirable. Current Vermont RN licensure and relevant unit-specific training certifications are also required. A strong understanding of adult education principles and excellent communication skills are essential for this position.
Estimated Salary Range
The estimated salary range for this position is $33.65 - $58.20 per hour.
