Currently, we are engaged in the development of a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility in Jefferson County, Texas, which will feature two identical LNG trains, two LNG storage tanks, an LNG carrier berth, and supporting utilities.


Position Overview:
As a Mechanical Superintendent, you will oversee a team of skilled professionals on a significant project. Your leadership will guide craft activities, manage work schedules, and coordinate subcontractor efforts, ensuring that all team members are equipped to meet project standards and timelines.

Your role is crucial in maintaining compliance with project policies, procedures, and safety regulations while ensuring that work is completed within specified budgets and schedules.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and direct craft activities, overseeing up to 50 professionals.
  • Work Scheduling: Plan and schedule tasks, reviewing completed work for quality and efficiency.
  • Resource Management: Assess workforce needs and coordinate operational plans.
  • Safety and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to the latest design documents and compliance with specifications.
  • Technical Oversight: Collaborate with Construction Field Engineers and Foremen to interpret engineering and vendor documents.

Qualifications:


A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) is required, along with 5-8 years of relevant experience, or 9-12 years of applicable work experience.


Essential Skills:
  • Experience in LNG construction, particularly along the U.S. Gulf Coast.
  • Background in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, or power generation construction is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and team management skills.
  • Capability to develop short-term operational schedules.
