Project Overview:
We are engaged in the development of a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility in Jefferson County, Texas. This project encompasses the construction of two identical LNG trains, LNG storage tanks, and associated utilities, all designed to meet the growing energy demands efficiently.
Position Summary:
The Mechanical Field Engineer will play a pivotal role in providing specialized engineering expertise in project execution. Responsibilities include:
- Work Planning & Execution: Prepare construction drawings and facilitate planning of construction methodologies.
- Material Management: Initiate requisitions for field materials and conduct quantity takeoffs.
- Quantity Verification: Ensure accurate tracking of commodities through established systems.
- Safety & Quality Assurance: Uphold a zero-accident philosophy and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Technical Coordination: Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance technical skills.
- Subcontractor Oversight: Review inspection test plans and coordinate subcontractor submissions.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 5-8 years of relevant experience, or 9-12 years of applicable work experience is required. Candidates should possess experience in overseeing the installation and inspection of both rotating and static equipment, as well as familiarity with ASME and API standards.
