Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is in the process of developing a state-of-the-art Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility situated along the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas.

The project will feature two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, along with necessary utilities and facilities.


Position Overview:
In this role, you will oversee a team of skilled craft professionals on a significant project. You will manage craft professional activities, work schedules, and coordinate subcontractor tasks while fostering team development.

Your leadership will ensure that craft professionals are equipped with the necessary tools to perform efficiently, adhere to project policies and procedures, and meet specifications, timelines, and budgetary constraints.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership / Supervision: Direct supervision of up to 50 craft personnel.
  • Task Management: Schedule and review work performed by each craft.
  • Planning / Productivity: Assess workforce needs and coordinate operational plans.
  • Safety & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with the latest design documents and approved changes.
  • Technical Oversight: Collaborate with Construction Field Engineers and Craft Professionals to interpret engineering and vendor documents.

Education and Experience Requirements:


A bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) is required, along with 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of pertinent work experience.


Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Experience in LNG construction, particularly along the U.S. Gulf Coast.
  • Background in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing, or power generation construction is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.
  • Familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Capability to develop a three-week look-ahead schedule for work operations.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
