Job Overview

Quality Audit Specialist

Key Responsibilities


• Cultivate a deep understanding of the SEH-A Quality Management System and ensure compliance across all operations.


• Conduct systematic audits across various business units, collaborating with teams to enhance processes and validate improvements.


• Assess production workflows to ensure adherence to established quality standards.


• Assist in the formulation of audit strategies and timelines.


• Engage in quality audits, leading audit teams as necessary.


• Monitor the resolution of action items, escalating issues to ensure timely audit completion.


• Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the internal audit system's effectiveness.


• Ensure compliance with manufacturing inspection, sampling, and statistical process control protocols.


• May perform vendor assessments to evaluate qualifications.


• Travel may be required to maintain necessary certifications.

Minimum Qualifications


• Strong attention to detail with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Comprehensive knowledge of departmental and organizational processes, metrics, and quality systems.


• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across diverse departments and levels of the organization.


• Proficient in auditing tools such as control charts and Ishikawa diagrams.


• Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques, including Statistical Process Control (SPC).


• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with various managerial levels.


• Demonstrated capacity to handle multiple projects concurrently with a range of personalities.


• High degree of technical and project management expertise.


• Experience in a production setting is essential.


• Must be eligible to obtain a passport for domestic and international travel.

Preferred Knowledge / Skills / Experience


• Experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments is highly desirable.


• A Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.


• Previous experience in a production environment is strongly preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Ability to read and execute complex instructions is essential. The role may require working in a clean room environment, necessitating the use of protective gear. Physical activities may include lifting up to 25 lbs, as well as prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. Occasional international travel may be necessary, and candidates must be able to obtain a passport.
