Job Summary

Language Link is seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating translation projects, facilitating vendor relationships, and ensuring the successful completion of projects in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating fast-paced projects, including resource allocation and collaboration.
  • Maintain and adhere to project schedules and timelines.
  • Facilitate relationships with vendors and all members of the localization team.
  • Perform quality assurance checks of returned translated material based on strict documentation and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • Must have a reliable internet connection.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, accurate, and able to work quickly and steadily in a focused manner.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to follow verbal directions.
  • Ability to deal with frequent change, delays, interruptions, and unexpected events.
  • Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of various computer-aided translation tools or ability and desire to learn quickly.
  • Must possess great time management skills to ensure deadlines are properly met.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and its applications.
  • Experience with QA/QC/Final proofing.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write any of the following languages: Arabic, Armenian, Bengali, Burmese, Farsi, Gujarati, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Lao, Mongolian, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog, Telugu, Thai, Traditional Chinese, or Vietnamese.

Position Details

  • Location: Remote, International.
  • Contract Duration: Mid-July to Mid-Late October.
  • Contract/Task Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST.
  • Industry: Translation & Localization.
