About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Oracle. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and maintenance for our end-users, ensuring that they have a seamless and efficient experience with our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring software, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Document and track technical issues and resolutions, ensuring that all relevant information is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, quality assurance, and customer support, to ensure that technical issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, technical notes, and other relevant materials.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and apply this knowledge to improve technical support processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of combined work experience and completed higher education.
  • Associates degree (Higher Education, Higher National Diploma) or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of office support, call center, or phone support work experience.
  • At least 1 year of operating systems support work experience.
  • At least 1 year of end-user device support and troubleshooting work experience.
  • CompTia A+ Certification and/or Microsoft Certifications.
  • ITIL Foundations Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
