About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our hotel operations at the Holiday Inn & Suites Anaheim. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for maximizing profits and achieving the highest level of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates to ensure they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with our core values.
  • Operations and Quality Assurance
    • Tour and visually inspect the property on a daily basis to monitor cost control, property condition, cleanliness, quality of product, and service throughout the hotel.
    • Supervise the development of and revision to the business plan, annual budget, financial reports, and annual and monthly forecasts that clearly explain operational effectiveness, trends, and variances.
  • Sales and Marketing
    • In conjunction with the sales leader, develop and implement sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Revenue Management
    • Critically review reports of occupancy and revenue, partner with revenue management professionals to analyze trends and implement changes to maximize room revenue.
  • Communication and Community Involvement
    • Maintain positive rapport with associates and customers and communicate regularly with the public, staff, corporate office, and owners.
    • Participate in community affairs and maintain a positive public image for our company and hotel.
  • Safety and Security
    • Ensure safety practices and procedures are followed and proper emergency and security procedures are maintained.
  • Travel and Professional Development
    • Travel to attend corporate meetings, sales trips, and serve on committees.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
    • Previous hotel management experience required.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
    • Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and best practices.
