Key Responsibilities- Maintain food quality and consistency across all kitchen outlets
- Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize efficiency
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing culinary team
- Assist in scheduling, labor costing, and payroll administration
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Implement new food concepts and menus, driving innovation and creativity
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and storage procedures
- Collaborate with the Banquet Chef to develop and execute menus, specials, and promotions
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cook 1 or Jr. Sous Chef in a high-volume or luxury hotel
- Current SERVSAFE certification or equivalent
- Food handlers card and other certifications as required by law
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
