Job Overview

Emerge is seeking a dedicated Strategic Human Resources Partner to join our esteemed client organization. This role is pivotal in guiding internal stakeholders on effective strategies, policies, and programs that enhance employee engagement, foster talent development, and support succession planning within the operations.

Key Responsibilities of the Strategic Human Resources Partner:

  • Deliver comprehensive HR support, including recruitment, employee relations, incident investigations, and talent development.
  • Advise and counsel operations to ensure adherence to corporate and local HR policies.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring accurate data entry in relevant systems.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and federal/state employment regulations.
  • Oversee recruitment and retention efforts, including full-cycle recruiting and data analysis to drive HR initiatives.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of strategic HR programs and communications.
  • Participate in counseling and termination processes as needed.
  • Ensure all HR activities align with equal employment policies and practices.
  • Assist in the preparation of Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) reports.
  • Promote positive organizational development through best practices and change management techniques.
  • Support training and development initiatives, including onboarding for hourly employees.
  • Provide various performance metrics for the location.
  • Assist in managing workforce performance evaluations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the Strategic Human Resources Partner:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of five years of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting is essential.
  • At least one year of experience in Labor Relations is required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exceptional multitasking abilities and capacity to engage with all organizational levels.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills, along with proficiency in HR information systems and computer software.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
