Your Role

As the Adventure Activities Assistant Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring compliance with the highest safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhancing Guest Experiences: Ensure every visitor receives outstanding service, from friendly greetings to comprehensive information about our thrilling adventure courses, crafting a remarkable experience.
  • Prioritizing Safety: Maintain safety as the foremost concern by ensuring staff adherence to risk assessments and safety protocols, overseeing sessions, and upholding health and safety regulations.
  • Supporting the Team: Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting effective communication within the team.
  • Operational Management: Help oversee the operational integrity of the course through regular safety inspections, documentation management, site cleanliness, and support with financial and merchandise operations.
  • Brand Promotion: Serve as a brand ambassador by engaging in marketing efforts, enhancing brand visibility, participating in community events, and conducting local market analysis.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Prior experience in a supervisory support capacity.

Preferred Experience

  • At least one year of experience in amusement or recreational operations.
  • Familiarity with advanced software applications (e.g., SharePoint).

Additional Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to meet guest participation criteria.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Capability to perform various roles on-site, including lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights, and adapting to diverse weather conditions.
  • Must obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of hire and complete Go Ape Rescue Training.
