Your Role
As the Adventure Activities Assistant Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring the highest standards of safety and service.
Core Responsibilities
- Enhancing Guest Satisfaction: Ensure that every visitor receives outstanding service, from friendly greetings to comprehensive information about our exciting courses, creating an unforgettable experience.
- Prioritizing Safety: Maintain safety as the foremost concern by ensuring compliance with risk assessments and safety protocols, overseeing activities, and upholding health and safety regulations.
- Supporting the Team: Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of staff, fostering a collaborative work environment and promoting effective communication within the team.
- Ensuring Operational Efficiency: Help manage the operational aspects of the courses by conducting safety inspections, maintaining records, ensuring cleanliness, and supporting financial operations and merchandise sales.
- Championing Brand Recognition: Act as a representative of the brand by engaging in marketing efforts, enhancing brand visibility, participating in community events, and conducting market research.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Prior experience in a supervisory or support role
Preferred Experience:
- At least one year of experience in amusement or recreational operations
- Familiarity with advanced software applications (e.g., SharePoint)
Additional Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to meet guest participation criteria
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Capability to perform various tasks at the job site, including lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights, and adapting to different weather conditions
- Must obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of employment and complete necessary training
