Position Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for the manufacturing of blood products and samples. Your duties will include processing blood products after receiving them from donors, which involves scanning, processing into transfusable components (such as red cells, platelets, and plasma), and performing leukoreduction.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Meet production goals while maintaining accurate documentation and prioritizing workload.
2. Manage inventory effectively throughout the manufacturing and distribution processes.
3. Perform data entry and utilize computer programs related to component production, labeling, storage, and sample management.
4. Conduct visual inspections and make informed decisions based on provided information.
5. Execute complex manufacturing tasks, including pooled product manufacturing and pathogen reduction.
6. Communicate effectively with internal customers, vendors, and volunteers.

Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a regulatory, laboratory, or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail are essential, along with good decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.

Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to use hands for handling and reaching, with the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted. The role may involve standing for extended periods and requires the ability to withstand varying temperatures in a typical blood banking environment.
