Job Summary:

DEKA Research & Development is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our engineering project teams in delivering innovative products and solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving project success from concept to delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams through the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
  • Translate high-level project goals into technical requirements, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide technical and people leadership to project teams, driving delivery of aggressive goals while managing project schedule, cost, and resources effectively.
  • Interface with customers and manage relationships to ensure clear communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Drive day-to-day project activity to achieve results, removing roadblocks, managing resource conflicts, and upholding high-performance standards.
  • Create comprehensive project plans and work closely with upper management to drive project schedules and resolve roadblocks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience leading medical device product development teams.
  • Experience with electromechanical products with embedded software.
  • Direct experience leading projects from initial concept through design and release.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing schedule, budget, and project resources.
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
