About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Perform engineering design, review, and preparation of contract documents for highway projects.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff members to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Contract Management: Prepare and review contract documents and reports to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with design team members to provide technical support and collaborate with clients to ensure project success.
  • Business Development: Assist with business development and project pursuits to identify new opportunities and grow our client base.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: 5-10 years of experience in highway design, stormwater management, ADA compliance, and roadway construction practices.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microstation, and OpenRoads Designer. Experience with MUTCD, AASHTO, and DOT design requirements.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift/move objects weighing up to 40 pounds, perform field work in various weather conditions, and stand or sit for long periods.
  • Other Requirements: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
