Position Overview:
This role encompasses a blend of office responsibilities and fieldwork, with travel primarily required throughout central and southern New Hampshire. As our company expands, travel requirements may evolve.

Project Scope:
Responsibilities will include overseeing new self-storage developments, initiating industrial projects, and managing the expansion and renovation of existing properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage and supervise projects from inception to completion.
  • Engage with municipal inspectors, secure permits, and participate in planning and zoning discussions.
  • Oversee project closure tasks, including finalizing details for job completion, invoicing, and obtaining necessary certifications.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance across projects within the current portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the Construction Manager and Senior Superintendent on cost estimation, construction processes, and budget management.
  • Conduct site visits to review and inspect work, ensuring quality and compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Be prepared for occasional overnight travel as needed.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a superintendent in self-storage, industrial, or related commercial construction projects.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven leadership in managing multiple subcontractors and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Procore, and SharePoint.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
