Role Summary:
As the Head of Customer Strategy, you will be an integral part of a skilled team of marketers dedicated to assisting Merkle's clients in realizing their business objectives. In this capacity, you will play a crucial role within our client account team, ensuring that the initiatives we implement are grounded in a comprehensive understanding of our clients' business and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the formulation, development, and execution of strategic omni-channel marketing plans.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, translating emerging technologies—especially in digital marketing and CRM—into innovative marketing solutions for clients.
  • Demonstrate a profound understanding of the nuances in marketing across various sectors and environments.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key client stakeholders and executives.
  • Ensure that significant client value is delivered through a combination of best-practice solutions, expertise, and original insights.
  • Collaborate with team leaders across account management, operations, creative, and analytics to transform ideas into actionable plans.
  • Identify essential data points and metrics to illustrate the impact of our strategies on client business outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the healthcare sector, particularly with Medicare.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • 8-12 years of experience in data-driven marketing, specifically in CRM, email, and media strategies, with 3-5+ years in an agency or consulting environment.
  • Proven track record in crafting solutions that facilitate the sale of new services to clients.
  • Hands-on experience utilizing data and research to inform decisions; proficiency in Excel and research tools is advantageous.
  • Exceptional writing, presentation, and client-facing communication skills, with experience in translating data analysis into actionable marketing strategies and presentations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to integrate feedback iteratively.
  • Strong multitasking, networking, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • A self-starter with high intellectual curiosity, drive, determination, and persuasive abilities.
  • Comfortable operating within a highly matrixed organization with a wide range of responsibilities.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20%-30% as needed.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $113,000-$182,850, influenced by various factors including relevant experience and skills. A range of benefits is also available to support our employees' well-being.
