Community Outreach Liaison

The Community Outreach Liaison at PACE Southeast Michigan is responsible for fostering and maintaining relationships with community resources to generate referrals. This role involves participating in marketing activities, supporting business development, and establishing strong connections with referral sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage appointments, presentations, and follow-ups to ensure effective communication with community resources.
  • Report on customer interactions and maintain a sales log to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with marketing strategies and event logistics to promote the organization's services and build relationships with referral sources.
  • Provide administrative support for marketing projects, including preparing press releases, newsletters, and event announcements.
  • Assist the Intake department in qualifying new participants and ensuring a smooth referral process.
  • Recognize and escalate issues as needed to maintain a high level of service quality.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Organize tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with marketing/sales experience and a strong understanding of the healthcare industry.
  • Minimum of one-year work experience with the elderly, with a focus on building relationships and generating referrals.
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills, with the ability to work across departments and maintain confidentiality.
  • Relevant experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on community outreach and engagement.
  • Flexibility in working hours and a valid driver's license, with the ability to travel as needed.
