Position: Child Abuse Pediatrician at Akron Children's Hospital

We are seeking a full-time Child Abuse Pediatrician to become a vital part of our Children at Risk Evaluation (CARE) Center. The ideal candidate should be either board-certified or eligible in Child Abuse Pediatrics, or a General Pediatrician with relevant experience in child abuse and neglect.
The CARE Center plays a crucial role in assessing and providing care for children suspected of experiencing physical or sexual abuse and neglect. Our committed team, consisting of physicians, nurses, and social workers, evaluates children and adolescents referred by various entities, including private medical practitioners, law enforcement, and child protective services. Furthermore, our team provides consultation services for cases of suspected child maltreatment that may require inpatient care. We take pride in being recognized as an accredited Child Advocacy Center (CAC) by the National Children's Alliance.
This position is located at a 501(c)(3) organization, qualifying it for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program offered by the Federal government.
