We are seeking a full-time Child Abuse Pediatrician to become a vital part of our Children at Risk Evaluation (CARE) Center. The preferred candidate should be either board-certified or eligible in Child Abuse Pediatrics, or a General Pediatrician with experience in child abuse and neglect.
The CARE Center is dedicated to assessing and providing care for children who are potential victims of physical or sexual abuse and neglect. Our committed team of medical professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, evaluates children and adolescents referred by various organizations, such as private practitioners, law enforcement, and child protective services. Furthermore, our team offers consultation services for suspected cases of child maltreatment that may require inpatient treatment. We take pride in being recognized as an accredited Child Advocacy Center (CAC) by the National Children's Alliance.
This position is located at a 501(c)(3) organization, making it eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program provided by the Federal government.
